Well for July, this has been some real nice weather, but I bet it’s going to get hot again soon. Go out to the lake.
This Saturday at 10 am, we will cut a ribbon for Mike D’s Auto Sound. He moved from the old location next to Wag a Bag to the new location at 419 S. Greer and joined the Chamber of Commerce. Come out and help welcome him.
The Pioneer Days committees have met twice and are getting things together for this year. If you would like to help with this or just have an idea to make it better please come to the next meeting, Thursday July 25 noon, here at the Chamber office.
Northeast Texas Community Colleges’ Hanson Sewell Center will be hosting a College Information Session, Wednesday, July 24 from 3:00-5:30 at the Pittsburg/Camp County Library. If you are thinking of enrolling and/or need assistance with financial aid, registering for college or enrolling in class, please make plans to attend. If you can not attend but would like to schedule an appointment to discuss, please contact Judy Jackson at 903-434-9393.
