It's going to be a busy weekend in Pittsburg, starting today at noon, ribbon cutting for J&C; Barbecue in downtown Leesburg. Noon.
Everyone come out and welcome a new Business to Camp County and a new member to the Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce pageant committee has decided to reschedule The Peach Queen Pageant to July 23rd, 2016. The sign ups will start February 20th, 2016 and end May 31st, 2016. The pageant committee, realize due to economics and timing (back to school and school events/sports) it would be better to reschedule as a summer event, due to the fact that's when Peaches are on the rise! As time near, we will post events and information regarding the pageant! We'd like to thank everyone for their inquiries and look forward to a successful Peach Queen pageant 2016!!
– Our newest CASA Volunteers, Robert and Elizabeth Hourahan were sworn in by the Honorable Danny Woodson on August 21, 2015 in Morris County. CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties trains volunteers to be a voice for the abused and neglected children involved in foster care and the child welfare system. CASA Volunteers advocate for safe, permanent forever families for these children. For more information about becoming a CASA Volunteer, call 903-717-8940. Volunteer Training begins September 14, 2015.

First National Bank of Pittsburg will be hosting a hot dog lunch!!
The lunch on be held on the Court House lawn this year on Friday, September the 18th
11:00 am until 2:00pm.
