Come join us for the last Live Band till next Spring at Barefoot Bay Marina "Ace Deuce Band " this Saturday from 9-1
Next Thursday Sept. 10, Classic Car Enthusiast from the area will meet at Town & Country Shopping Center, 900 N. Greer (Hwy. 271) Food, fun and Entertainment. Every one is welcome to come out and see the cars.
The Chamber of Commerce pageant committee has decided to reschedule The Peach Queen Pageant to July 23rd, 2016. The sign ups will start February 20th, 2016 and end May 31st, 2016. The pageant committee, realize due to economics and timing (back to school and school events/sports) it would be better to reschedule as a summer event, due to the fact that's when Peaches are on the rise! As time near, we will post events and information regarding the pageant! We'd like to thank everyone for their inquiries and look forward to a successful Peach Queen pageant 2016!!-
We are getting started on next year membership directories. The company that prints them gets your membership information from our website. Please go to www.pittsburgchamber.com , Members, and make sure your information is correct. If it is not please contact me and I will tell you how to change it. . Kelli Baxter of Texas Twister will be in town this week selling ads for the Directory. The Chamber does benefit from the ad sales. Please consider putting an ad for your business in the Membership directory.
First National Bank of Pittsburg will be hosting the hot dog lunch!!
The lunch on be held on the Court House lawn this year on Friday, September the 18th
11:00 am until 2:00pm.
Please make plans to join us, as we kick off the celebration of the
2015 Pioneer Days.

Camp County Democrats will be meeting next Tuesday, September 8th at 6:30 pm, Douglass Community Center.
Our speaker will be Sheriff McCandless who will give us an overview of what is going on in our county. Aaron Dunn, County Chair, will be giving us an update on some polling place issues.
