Donations welcome - even furniture. Please bring it to First United Methodist Church Ministry Center on Wednesday Oct 5th or Thursday Oct 6 8am-2pm. If you need pick up of larger items please call me at 903-253-8558. We will accept drop off on Thursday evening as well 6-7:00pm.Or you may drop donations at God's Closet any time (we are open 9-noon M-W-F, or the dry cleaner next door will open the door for you to drop off). All money raised will be used to buy food for families in need in Camp County. We are also having a coat drive, new or gently used coats welcome
We are looking for groups, organization or businesses that are not located on Main Street who would like to participate in this years Trick or Treat Main Street! For more information, contact Amanda at [email protected]. This event serves close to 3,000 kiddos each year!
The Whatley Center is presenting The Capitol Steps on Tuesday, October 11, at 7:30 p.m. This is an evening of hilarious political satire by this group of former Capitol Hill staffers. Given the current election environment, this is one you won't want to miss! Caution! The Capitol Steps are known to be equal-opportunity party offenders, so be sure to bring your sense of humor. A Night to Glow 5k Run & Family Fun Glow Walk! This year features a 1 Mile Glow Run/Walk + 5K Glow race - followed by a carnival in the First Baptist Church Pittsburg, parking lot!

DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY RIGHT IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. The ETMC Mobile Digital Mammography Unit will be at two of the Cypress Bank locations. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2016 AT THE PITTSBURG LOCATION AND FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2016 AT THE MT PLEASANT LOCATION. To schedule a digital mammogram, please call ETMC at 800-648-8141 and press 3. Medicare, Medicaid and all commercial insurance including Blue Cross/Blue Shield accepted and filed. Grants available for ladies without insurance that qualify based on family size and income. Otherwise, cost of mammogram will be $150.00.
Exciting things are happening at Pittsburg Nursing Center.
A new facility will be located next to ETMC Pittsburg and include beautiful rooms with private baths or showers and the ever important feeling of home. Fine dining, quality care, and a highly-trained, friendly, local staff will be available during a patient’s stay at Pittsburg Nursing. The new building will also house a fully-equipped rehabilitation gym for treatment using the most advanced medical equipment.
