Business Referrals
Daily calls come into the chamber office from both local and out-of-town residents requesting information about rental property, lodging, and business services in our community. As a member, your service will be listed under your business category on the website. The chamber will also provide phone requests with the name of your business, address, and phone number.

All members are encouraged to attend Chamber activities so you can meet other local businesspeople and exchange ideas and business cards.

Brochures & Business Cards
When you provide the Chamber with brochures, promotional literature and business cards, they are displayed in the Chamber office.
Promotional Aids & Packets
Members are invited to supply copies of 8 1/2 x 11 (unfolded) literature promoting their business and/or offering discounts. The promotional materials will be included in packets with flyers, and will be distributed to all new and renewing Chamber members as well as newcomers who visit the Chamber office.
Window Displays/Advertising
Member businesses are invited to display merchandise in the Chamber office window for one month at no cost. The marquee is an option to advertise a special event that is happing at your place of business or event. At no cost members have first use of the sign.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies
The Chamber will schedule a ribbon cutting or groundbreaking ceremony for new businesses and will notify the Mayor and Chamber members, and will supply the ribbon and scissors. A photo of the event is then placed on the website.
Chamber Committees
Once a business is a member, employees of their company can participate on a Chamber Committee. Serving on a committee provides employees experience working as a team member, making new contacts and learning more about our community.
Annual Events
Annual Meeting/Banquet: The chamber annual meeting is the highlight of membership. It includes celebration of membership, announcement of our new Chamber Board of Directors, and presentation of annual awards. This meeting is held during March.
Chickfest:Our annual festival in September that brings thousands of people to Pittsburg. Chickfest offers something for everyone, young and old.
Annual golf tournaments: Two golf tournaments will be held this year. One in the spring sponsored by the Chamber and one in September sponsored by Cypress Bank.
Business Expo/Job Fair: The Chamber holds this event in the summer for businesses to showcase their goods and services and look for potential employees.
